Bentley Torcal First Edition: 888 PS and an expanded comfort specification
Bentley announced the Torcal First Edition on 22 October, combining an 888 PS powertrain with powered doors, comfort seats, a switchable sunroof and 28-speaker Naim audio. The package provides a specific launch specification to compare; its name alone does not quantify rarity, a price advantage or future value.

What matters
First Edition defines a specification, not guaranteed scarcity, savings or appreciation.
The announced figures and equipment
Bentley states 888 PS and 1,350 Nm for the Torcal First Edition. The specification includes distinctive 22-inch wheels, trim details and a 28-speaker Naim audio system. These are manufacturer figures and equipment choices, not Autohaus measurements. The reviewed communication cannot establish a delivered price in Spain, an individual delivery date or future resale value.
The edition packages comfort and finishes previously chosen separately
Bentley includes powered front and rear doors, the switchable Frosted Diamond sunroof and Wellness front seats. Its rear comfort specification adds ventilation and comfort headrests for the outer rear occupants. These are concrete features for comparing the edition beyond its exclusive badging.
The finish includes gloss carbon fibre, deep-pile mats and broader colour-split choices, including a third interior colour. The release says alternative finishes can be selected without an additional charge. Establishing the package’s financial value still requires equivalent local prices; extensive equipment alone does not demonstrate a discount against choosing options individually.
Power and torque do not describe the entire experience
Maximum power describes a point in the system's performance. Torque is a different quantity and should not be compared as though it were power. Mass, transmission, control and operating conditions also influence a vehicle's response. Published peaks cannot reconstruct every relationship.
Comfort, precision and ease of use require direct evaluation. We have not driven the Torcal and do not assign driving impressions to it. A buyer can prepare a test around access, visibility, routine manoeuvres, noise and control response. That separates an impressive specification from improvements to actual journeys.
Wheels belong in the ownership budget
A large wheel diameter is a configuration choice that must be read alongside tyre specification and road conditions. It does not automatically prove better grip or poorer comfort. Assessment needs the complete combination, load and behaviour. Appearance alone is also insufficient for selecting a compatible replacement.
Before purchase, check availability and replacement cost for the correct tyres, alongside intended winter and travel use. That is an ownership assessment, not a price estimate provided here for this Bentley. Consumables and market conditions can matter more to routine expenditure than a small difference between decorative packages.
What the Naim system actually includes
The announced system combines 1,780 W and 28 speakers with seat transducers, front-headrest speakers and Dolby Atmos 7.1.4. That identifies a particular audio and tactile architecture rather than proving it superior for every listener. Rated power also says nothing about the listening level appropriate while driving.
A useful check would use familiar content and known settings to assess clarity, control and comfort in different seats. Seat transducers introduce another variable that a speaker count misses. Autohaus has not performed that test: the editorial value is explaining what the specification combines and how to assess it, while keeping published figures separate from listening impressions.
Commercial exclusivity and future value
The First Edition label alone does not establish production quantity. Buyers who care about numbers or individual numbering should obtain verifiable documentation. A special configuration cannot guarantee appreciation either: future demand depends on factors the equipment announcement does not measure.
For an international purchase, the next step is an identified vehicle, its options and warranty terms, plus a delivered-cost quotation. Prices from another territory cannot replace that offer. Remaining within the documents prevents editorial launch coverage becoming a commercial promise neither Bentley nor Autohaus has made to that buyer.
Questions answered
Does 888 PS mean 888 kW?
No. PS and kW are different power units and require conversion before comparison.
Does the edition name establish future appreciation?
No. A launch-edition label cannot establish future demand or a resale premium.
The Torcal First Edition combines a stated performance level with specific equipment. A useful comparison aligns contents, personal requirements and ownership costs. Launch-edition status is one product characteristic; final price, availability and future value require different evidence.
